Your cosmetology teacher shouldn’t have recommended those to you. Without seeing a doctor they can have a seriously negative affect such as blindness… overdosing that much on vitamins can be very bad for you, but they are the only thing that can really help hair grow… since HAIR ISN’T ALIVE AND DOESN’T GROW! It is a keratin/protein accumulation that builds up and pushed out of the follicle.

since hair is made up of protein as is nails, any foods with protein in them are good, as someone else said do not take anything a cosmetoligist says to, we cosmetoligist are not doctors, or is it legal for us to prescribe any drugs such as you are taking.. dont take anything over the counter, let the doctor give you the pre-natal vitamins….without a doctors consent, you could put you and the baby at a risk …

Vitamins B, C, F, zinc, iron, copper and protein are essential for hair growth. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair.Try for more details.

If you cut or trim your hair on the “new moon” (look at your calendar),it will grow faster. If you prefer a short hair cut, DO NOT cut your hair on the new moon.I know this is not a “pill” but it works for my family. Hope this helps you.

lots of calcium and vitamin A!! but don’t take to much, thats not good for u. try taking a daily vitamin. brush your hair too, this helps stimulate ur hair folicles.
don’t forget to get a healthy diet, too. this helps ur hair, and ur body.
basicly, if u take good care of ur body, brush and wash ur hair, ur hair should grow at a pretty good rate

There is a “Hair, Skin & Nails” vitamin complex designed to help all three grow & replenish themselves faster. The one I know of is from the company NUTRILITE.

Pre-natal vitamins are wonderful for you and the bebe but during pregnancy your hair goes into ..a kind of dormant cycle–By that I mean–It will continue to grow-But- A non-pregnant person will lose 75-100 hairs a day– NORMAL Shedding !!!! But when you are pregnant YOU DO NOT LOSE HAIR—-Don’t ask me why—-It’s all hormonal, I imagine-I am a hairdresser (22yrs) and also went to nursing school as well- But BE PREPARED—-after you give birth and your hormones are trying to stabilize-( ****** feeding will delay this process)–You will lose hair like mad—–No one told me about this -I was FREAKED—I thought something was terribly wrong-BUT NO- It is all part of the hormonal process—– If you have questions re: any pregnancy related concerns-PLEASE talk to your Ob or midwife–don’t trust the judgment of a cosmetology instructor-as far as vitamines for your hair …BIOTIN is by far the best-Don’t sweat the hair thing…just relax and enjoy this magical part of life!!! Good Luck
