We are planning on trying to conceive in about 6 months, when should I take prenatal vitamins? My doc said wait until I am pregnant, but I’ve heard others say do it a few months before. Also is the women’s one-a-day vitamin good enough to take right now?

I am looking for an answer in how often some of u ladies take ur prenatal vitamins when ur trying to get pregnant. Like do u only take them at the beginning of ur cycle or do u take them all the way through it. I am getting ready to start taking fertility pills and prenatal vitamins and I am not sure if I should only take the vitamins while i am taking the fertility pills or take the vitamins all the way through my cycle.
